My sister and I visited our dear friend because we haven’t seen each other for weeks which is unusual 😉 We had a heartfelt lunch at their house and we decided to try Cups and Cones (highly recommended … Continue reading
I saw a lot of bloggers posting this bazaar in Eton Centris (the perks of following them on Instagram). I was intrigued so I searched and decided to come. The bazaar was organized to cater blogger’s clothing line, some of their stuff and new finds.
The event has it all in – from clothes, accessories and even food. A fashionista and a bargain princess (like me)‘s haven. Not only you get the chance to buy your favorite blogger’s ensembles, you get to meet some of them as well.
My friend MJ is totally digging this shirt because of the print.
We saw Ms Laureen Uy’s stall but unfortunately she was not around because she has an event. We took our time shopping her clothes though.

“Asian and Western Cuisine”
My siblings decided to dine-out for my younger sisters’ birthday. We took a cab and hop off to BGC or Bonifacio Global City. If you haven’t been in the area, its an hour drive from Quezon City. The place is a picture of modern art with a hint of nature which I prefer. Once you step on Taguig, it’s like you’re in another place. I couldn’t actually say that it’s like your in another country because I’ve never been to any but it’s more clean and organize compare to other cities here in the Philippines. So, after our sightseeing we had to walk a few blocks and had to wait for my older sister so we could eat.
We ordered Natural Mango Slush, which is superb, and Carrot Shake (I’m not a fan of that flavor) so its an average for me.
The place actually means ‘Chicken’ and it’s a Filipino Favorite ( the chicken, i mean) so we had to order it. I love the salad on the Soy Garlic Chicken (Php390/large; Php750/family) but I had to say that I’m not that happy with the flavor.
We also tried the Fresh Potato Chips (Php 155.00) and their best namesake – the Koko buri Fried Chicken (Php 390/large serving and Php750/family) and it was delicious, I must say, especially if your having Taipei Beef Fried Rice (Php 295.00) along side. Talking about a match made in heaven.
And of course the little cake for our little sister (hahaha..) The staff even sang her a birthday song which is very sweet.
My overall rate for this restaurant is 9 out of 10. The ambiance is elegant, the food’s great, the price is reasonable and I love how accommodating their staff are.
So here’s the complete gang. We seldom eat outside so we make sure that we try different restaurant for something new to look up to.
And with the birthday girl on the left.
A review on their Prune Hazelnut Cupcake
First of all I am not an adventure foodie. I’m afraid to try new things especially FOOD. But for some reason, I am rewarded with a sister whose obviously very fond of the word NEW. One night she came home with a huge red box on her hands. She told me it was a gift for herself because her birthday’s on the next day. She asked me to give it a try. And as a loyal and loving (well occasionally) sister that I am, I did my best not to disappoint the birthday girl. The name itself is a big question mark for me. What the **** is a Prune?! So as for those bright kids like me, Prune is a dried Plum. So basically the cupcake has a huge pulp of dried fruit inside. If your a fan of raisins it is not that different. What’s weird for me though is, it tasted a lot like caramel. So….big news! I loved it.
It’s really good along with your morning black coffee.
It’s a bit pricey for me though. But one piece is enough and satisfying, worth every penny (especially if its not my penny.)
