You would probably notice on my previous and on will-be future posts my fascination with BLACK ensembles. I’m not very adventurous as what I always say so it’s pretty obvious that I choose that color as my go-to accoutrements.
A lot of people may tell me (but I don’t really care at all) that I’m so boring 😉 But as I’ve said I’m into classic and timeless pieces and you can never go wrong with black.
This particular outfit is what I usually wear when I’m feeling lazy but still wanted to look polished. I’m not even wearing make up here so please excuse my dull face 😉

In a place where you only get to expect two weather means either piling yourself with thick clothes or the flimsy ones. But if I were to ask what I love the most? Of course a chance to soak under the not so scorching sun… and to feel the sweet salty scent of the sea. But I love rainy days as well, as long as it wouldn’t flood the whole city (which is “almost” always the case). The excitement is so endearing that being out in the blue sky is giving me tons of massive pure bliss.
If you live in a Tropical Country like the Philippines, you know very well that sunnies RAYBAN is a MUST have. I opted for a breezy ensemble because the sun decided to pop out in the middle of BER month. The weather has been bipolar lately, I sometimes woke up drowning on my own sweat in the morning and feeling the bedweather mid afternoon (or vice versa).
My family decided to cool down in the mall so I added this rustic gold necklace from CLOTHING-DROPSHIP for a little sophistication on this lazy outfit. Tucked my very thin Top from a local store to my white SO-EN shorts and I’m good to go. No heavy make-up for me today, just my regular sunscreen and pale lipstick.
I promised myself that I would not commit myself on investing expensive pieces. And I also couldn’t let myself follow every trend. But from time to time I do indulge.
Buying a peplum top is a challenge for me. I was always in doubt and thinking “I couldn’t wear it with everything”. Limited is the word I would use to describe this particular trendy piece or so I thought. I usually go with classic pieces that I could wear even after years and with almost everything.
Do I regret buying this item? No, because the detail is basic. A plain cream peplum top with gold rustic zipper at the back. I could consider this as one of my classic buys. I could add statement necklace and it would change my overall look. I could also pair it with either pants, skirt or shorts, my choice. Not bad at all.
One of my go-to ensemble is a black bottoms. I do search and invest on good quality black pants.
So, if you’re looking for quality and standard I’d say Mango has good pieces. But if you’re in a budget, SM Ladies Wear and Folded and Hung has alleys of good quality products as well.
Visiting a library gives me nostalgia. Going preppy today is just appropriate to be on a student-y mood.
