I wasn’t an instant fan of cosmetics, but growing up with a little sister obsessed with make-up lives me nothing much of a choice. I wasn’t fascinated nor was I entertained because I’m a little impatient with results. … Continue reading

National Museum caters a spot of the history of the Philippines, and given a chance to visit it is a humble experience. I’m not a fan of arts because I think it is a bit intimidating. But it’s still … Continue reading
Here’s another adventure for you guys. My sister and her boyfriend dragged us to join them on a what they call a “not-so-childish” event (Yeah right). We drove to BGC again, to be on a Gundam Detailing Experience. So when we arrived, we were given a box of Gundam Robot that we would assemble ourselves. The good thing is you are not required to purchase anything to participate on the event. When we were ushered on our seats I automatically feel agitated. I’m not a fan of building anything, my dad even calls me “the destroyer” because I tend to drop, smash or ruin something I am not very familiar with (not on purpose, trust me). So I smilingly whispered to my younger sister to help me because the last thing I needed is to be a laughing stock of a nine-year old kid beside me.
I’m not a fan of Gundam (don’t judge 😉 ) But after removing the parts, it was really not that hard actually. It was challenging to be honest.
Here is our “great job” looks, with our own box of Gundam.
I wore my hand-me-down floral blazer from my Aunt Nory because I have stuff to do afterwards. My watch is from UNISILVER and my bag’s from KIMBEL. I decided to braid my hair to strategically hide my cray-cray (CRAZY) hair.

The event was stressful (or was a good excuse to pig out) so we had to eat, and eat, did I say eat already?
Our finished product 😉 I gave my Gundam piece to my Godson Chall.
Bonding has been the least priority in most of the families. I always hear people complaining that they don’t have enough money to waste on such. But activities like these really helped my family relaxed and get to know each other more. We have to admit that seeing and being with your family members almost 24 hours doesn’t mean that you already know what they do and want. I recommend doing family activities once in a while that doesn’t have to slash your budget. It’s the togetherness that matters.
As I promised, I would post budget friendly bond. So, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife is one of those. Located in 1100 Diliman Quezon City, Philippines. The park is not free but the entrance fee is very affordable, for adults you have to pay Php 8.00 and Php 5.00 for students/children. If you are planning on bringing your car, parking fee are: Php 25.00/bus ; Php 15.00/car and jeepney ; Php 8.00/tricycle and motorcycle.
Once you enter the facility you will forget that you’re still in the metro. It’s nature in the heart of the city. A very good place to be one with mother earth and just relax.
We used our time to catch up with our lives. Bonding while lounging in our picnic mat.
And indulged a cup of “dirty” ice cream (it’s not really dirty) and enjoyed the rest of our stay.
Because the place is maintained by the Protected Area and Wildlife Bureau, they have this mini zoo that kids would surely love.
Prepping for a picnic can be stressful, sometimes, especially if you’re in a tight budget. But you don’t have to spend too much. Our budget is Php 2,000.00 for our food and trip. We already enjoyed 2 pastas, fried chicken, our veggies, fresh mango fruits, nachos for snacks and lemon iced tea. See? It’s a lot already.
My look for today should reflect the place. The turquoise pants from GIORDANO stands for the green trees surrounding the park. My yellow Top from H&M shine bright as the sun that day. My ensembles are all from H&M as well. My jelly pale pink slippers are from CELINE. Sorry if I’m being cheesy already 🙂
Great way to end the day? SMILE.
I saw a lot of bloggers posting this bazaar in Eton Centris (the perks of following them on Instagram). I was intrigued so I searched and decided to come. The bazaar was organized to cater blogger’s clothing line, some of their stuff and new finds.
The event has it all in – from clothes, accessories and even food. A fashionista and a bargain princess (like me)‘s haven. Not only you get the chance to buy your favorite blogger’s ensembles, you get to meet some of them as well.
My friend MJ is totally digging this shirt because of the print.
We saw Ms Laureen Uy’s stall but unfortunately she was not around because she has an event. We took our time shopping her clothes though.
